Savile Park was transformed into a sea of pink and bright colours as Race For Life came to Halifax.
The annual fundraiser – which raises money for Cancer Research – saw 1,600 females of all ages and abilities take up the 5km challenge.
From pink tutus, fairy wings to pink wigs and emus, the charity runners were cheered on by family and friends around the course.
Elsewhere the Running Man pub in Pellon showed its support for Cancer Research. A bouncy castle and ‘bric-a-brac’ stalls have been raising money for the cause following many customers getting involved in the race.
