School pupils showcased ‘blood, bones and gory bits’ as part of a Eureka! led initiative to teach parents about science and healthy lifestyles.

Children from Bolton Brow Primary Academy hosted a conference at the national children’s museum’s ‘All About Me’ gallery, which saw them explore the outcome of their ‘Blood, Bones and Gory Bits’ science project - where they examined real organs, investigated the history of medicine and learnt about lifestyle choices.

Teacher Tim Butterworth said: “I feel sure that they will have a bright future ahead of them as scientists.”
