POLICE are hunting yobs who hurled a brick at a train, smashing the driver’s window.
The 8.29pm Blackpool North to York service was in Sowerby Bridge Station when the stone came crashing down, shattering the outer skin of the window (pictured).
PC John Moses said: “This dangerous incident left the driver understandably shaken and caused the service to be terminated early. We urge those who think that throwing stones and other objects at passing trains is fun to consider the consequences of their actions, which could have been much worse.”
Anyone with information about the incident at around 10pm on Friday, April 29 should call British Transport Police on 0800 405040.
