Shipley stabbing and murder suspect charged

A man will appear at Bradford Magistrates Court today charged with murder and attempted murder.

Nathaniel Flynn has been charged after an elderly woman’s body was found and a nine-year-old boy was stabbed in a skate park, both in Shipley.

He is also accused of attacking a man, 59 outside his home in Stanley Street, Idle, with an iron bar. The victim received a broken hand and required treatment at hospital.

As well as possession of an offensive weapon.

Louisa Denby, 84, was found dead at her home hours after nine-year-old Jason D’Arcy was stabbed in a nearby park.

Mr Flynn, 26, of Prospect Mount, Shipley, is due in court today.
