Local people are being invited to become a member of South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SWYPFT) and help shape their local health services.
SWYPFT is a Foundation Trust – an NHS organisation that is based around membership, and runs a range of community, learning disability and mental health services in Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield and Barnsley.
Members, who are represented by an elected Members’ Council, work closely with the Trust to plan and deliver services that benefit local communities and members.
The Trust already has over 16,500 members and is now urging other people in the area to also sign up.
Membership is free and you don’t need any special skills or experience to sign up. You just need to be interested in NHS services and the people the Trust cares for.
