The Courier’s Song for Christmas competition is now well underway and the race for our Christmas Number One is hotting up.

We have had some fantastic entries this year, featuring renditions of festive favourites, the old classics, plus those songs with a more modern Christmas twist.

And on Christmas Eve, we will be announcing our very own Courier Christmas Number One, decided by the online article with the most page views.

But your votes still count - our overall winner will be decided through a coupon vote in the paper. Photographs of schools taking part and a coupon will appear in the paper in the first two weeks of January.
