There were no major incidents during the strike from 10 am to 2 pm today(Wed) by firefighters.
Crews were mobilised to 13 incidents - none in Calderdale - and eight of those were false alarms.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service praised the public for being vigilant during the industrial action.
Assistant Chief Officer Dave Walton said: “The number of calls received reflected what we would expect at that time of day on a Wednesday.
“I would like to thank the public for taking extra care, allowing us to ensure that those that needed our help were able to get it.”
There were 31 fire engines providing contingency cover across West Yorkshire.
The usual fleet is 54.
Today’s action was the fourth period of strike action taken by members of the Fire Brigades Union over a pensions dispute.
