HALIFAX landmark Wainhouse Tower will be open for public ascent on Sunday - if you fancy the steps.
The only way up and down the Victorian folly is the spiral staircase with over 400 steps.
But once you make it to the viewing platforms over 250 feet off the ground, the sights are quite remarkable.
The tower, originally built as a chimney for mill owner Edward Wainhouse, will be open from 10am to 7pm, with the last ascent at 6.30pm.
There will also be opportiunities to climb the tower again on Sunday August 28, Bank Holiday Monday August 29 and on September 11.
