Mums, dads, aunties and grandparents joined their children back at school for a day of family learning.
Park Lane Learning Trust in Halifax organised a day of different events for students young and old to try their hand at.
There were lessons in art and cookery, boxing and trampolining, archery, numeracy and even street surfing.
Assistant head teacher Andy Haughy, who was in charge of organising the day, said: “It’s a joy to see families playing and learning together.
“In a fast, modern-day society it’s not always visible so this is nice.
“If families enjoy learning together it’s a brilliant role model for the student.”
