Police are investigating a suspected arson attack at Royal Mail’s Halifax delivery office.
Fire crews were called to the office on Gaol Lane at 4am on Friday, June 1 by staff who had discovered a fire in the loading bay.
The blaze damaged the bay but not any post.
Royal Mail spokesperson Heulyn Gwyn Davies said: “The damage caused to the loading bay is now being repaired and we are working with police as they believe the fire may have been started deliberately.
“We would urge anyone with information to contact police immediately.”
Anyone who can help should call police via 101.
