CHILDREN wowed the judges with star quality at their school’s talent show.

The event at Sowerby New Road Primary School was organised by the parent teacher association there.

Year six pupils Millie Fogg and Bethany Glasby won with their version of Adele’s Someone Like You.

In second place were comedy duo Kane Drucas and Joseph Collinson, from year three to four.

Their classmates Tyler Denwood and Adam Chapman came third, performing a Justin Bieber song.

Even staff joined in the fun with site manager Wayne Pickersgill playing the ukelele.

Year six teacher Steve Beattie said: “There was a fantastic turnout from parents.

“The children have practised for six weeks and it really was a quality show. It really had the wow factor.”
