Teenager mugged by gang of four

DETECTIVES are looking for a gang of four who mugged a teenage boy.

The 16-year-old boy was walking down an alley between Clover Hill Road and Heath Road in Savile Park, Halifax, at 11.05am on Tuesday when he was approached by four men who blocked his path

They demanded his phone and wallet, assaulted him, and then left.

One was described as afro-caribbean, in his early 20s, around 6ft 4ins tall and of heavy build. He was wearing a black NY Yankees baseball cap, black Adidas Originals hoodie with the hood over his hat, and a pair of grey Nike jogging bottoms with a red logo.

He was also wearing a black and white chequered scarf covering face and black woolly gloves. He is believed to be the man who assaulted the boy.

The second was described as afro-caribbean man in his early 20s, around 6ft tall and of heavy build. He had brown eyes, rounded features and was wearing a plain black hoodie with the hood up over a black baseball cap. He was wearing grey Nike joggers with red logo.

The third was described as afro-caribbean, in his early 20s, around 6ft tall and of heavy build. He wore a diamond stud ear ring in each ear and was wearing a black and white chequered scarf covering his face and black woolly gloves. He also wore a black hoodie with “STAR IN DA HOOD” emblazoned in silver lettering across front and black Adidas track pants with green logo and lettering.

The other was described as white, in his late teens, around 5ft 11ins tall and thin. He had sharp facial features and wore a black woolly hat covering his ears and eyebrows. He also wore a grey nylon type zip hoodie with McKenzie branding from right shoulder diagonally down the front.
