THERE will be plenty of reminscing at an anniversary dinner later this month.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Boothtown Terriers rugby club, Halifax.

The team, based at the Flying Dutchman in Boothtown, was set up by Andy Charlesworth and Graham Taylor.

The pair served together in the Army and in 1986 set up the then C Company 1st Yorkshire team, later becoming Halifax Terriers before taking their current name.

To celebrate, an anniversary dinner will be held at Bar 11, Halifax, on June 11 at 7pm.

Guests will include 13 of the team’s original players.
