PLAYERS past and present reunited to mark 25 years of their rugby club.

The Boothtown Terriers team was formed in 1986.

To mark their 25th anniversary they held a dinner at Bar 11, Halifax and more than 90 guests turned out to mark the occasion.

Around half of the guests were former players, including 13 from the original C company Yorkshire Volunteers team.

Organiser Andy Charlesworth said it was a fantastic evening. Awards were presented including to Player of the year, Wayne Scott and players voted Graham Charlesworth their player of the year.

Founders Andy and Graham Taylor were both given a gift to mark their 25 years involvement.

They thanked sponsors Expect distribution, Shay Motors and the Flying Dutchman in Boothtown.
