NURSES from Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust are urging the public to support the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning next month in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Staff from the Macmillan unit at Calderdale Royal Hospital were joined by a charity representative and the coffee morning mascot to promote the event.
It is the charity’s biggest fund-raiser and last year 43,000 people registered to hold a coffee morning and £8 million was raised across the UK to help people living with cancer.
Coffee mornings will be held at Calderdale Royal on September 30 and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on September 30.
Last year staff at the trust raised £1,000 and hope to raise even more this year.
