Three charged with knife robbery

Three men have been charged after two people were robbed at knifepoint.

The robbery happened in Aachen Way, King Cross, Halifax, just after midnight on Saturday morning.

A man was robbed of his Blackberry mobile phone, worth £190, and threatened with the knife.

Idris Hussain, 18. of Savile Park, appeared at Calderdale Magistrates Court with two 17-year-olds.

One of the youths, who both cannot be named, is from the King Cross area.

Police arrested all three from the home of the other youth, in Huddersfield.

They spoke only to confirm their names, dates of birth and addresses.

They were released on bail and will appear at Bradford Crown Court on September 12.
