People are being asked what they think about council plans to introduce waiting restrictions along part of Keighley Road, Hebden Bridge.
It follows long standing complaints about parking congestion, particularly between the White Lion Inn and the traffic lights at Nutclough.
The proposals will be available for inspection at a drop-in meeting in Hebden Bridge Town Hall on Monday, June 20, between 6pm and 6.45pm.
Calderdale Council’s Liberal Democrat leader, Janet Battye, said: “We need to create room for larger vehicles to pass with ease.
“At the same time, we must recognise the need for all-day parking on the outskirts of the town centre for people who work in Hebden Bridge, so we need to get the views of everyone before making a decision.”
People who can’t attend the meeting can contact traffic engineer, Haydn Vernals, on 01422 392991 or E-mail: email@example.com before Thursday, June 30, or write to the Highways Office, Huddersfield Road, Elland, HX5 9JR, before the July 11.
