Traffic delays in Leeds because of #Majestyk nightclub fire

Motorists are facing delays in Leeds city centre because of the ongoing Majestyk nightclub fire

Boar Lane in Leeds closed and there is very slow traffic in both directions between the Mill Hill junction and the Aire Street junction.

It is also affecting Quebec Street between Park Place and Wellington Street, Wellington Street between Quebec Street and Bishopgate Street, New Station Street between Wellington Street and Neville Street, Wellington Street between King Street and Aire Street, Neville Street between Great Wilson Street and New Station Street and Bishopgate Street.

The bus stops at Leeds Rail Station are closed, however Leeds Rail Station is open as normal.

The fire has been burning since 7.19pm last night and has been fought by firefighters from across West Yorkshire - including Halifax, Illingworth and Elland stations.
