Overnight closures on M62

The Highways Agency has announced details of planned works on the M62 from tonight (Sat) and running into next week as part of ongoing roadworks between junction 25 (Brighouse) to junction 30 (Rothwell).

The motorway will be fully closed overnight in both directions, between junctions 26 and 27, on Saturday 18 May, for installation of traffic monitoring equipment.

Closures operate between 8pm and 8am, and a signed diversion route will be in place.

In addition, the following overnight closures will also be in place, between 8pm and 6am, with signed diversion routes in operation:

Saturday 18 May: junctions 26 to 27 westbound and eastbound carriageways; junction 26 eastbound entry slip road; junction 27 westbound entry slip road.

Sunday 19 May: junctions 25 to 26 westbound carriageway; junction 26 westbound entry slip road; junction 27 eastbound entry slip road.

Monday 20 May: junctions 25 to 26 westbound carriageway; junction 26 westbound entry slip road.

Tuesday 21 May: junctions 25 to 26 westbound carriageway; junction 26 westbound entry slip road.

Wednesday 22 May: junctions 25 to 26 westbound carriageway; junction 26 westbound entry slip road.

Thursday 23 May: junctions 25 to 26 westbound carriageway; junction 26 westbound entry slip road.
