Three car crash and road closure causes town centre delays

A three car crash and a road closure caused delays on the streets around Halifax town centre this morning (Monday).

The incident involving an Audi TT, BMW and Vauxhall Corsa happened at 7.25am on Orange Street at the traffic lights outside the Broad Street Plaza.

Two people suffered injuries but they are not thought to be serious.

The damaged vehicles have now been removed.

Cross Hills is also closed this morning due to roadworks being carried out.

Northern Gas Networks are carrying out maintenance work.

A diversion is in place to gain access to Dean Clough Mills.
