Dance students in Halifax were given a special lesson by professional dancer and TV star Turbo.
The dancer – whose rela name is Isaac Baptiste – has worked with stars such as Madonna, Jamelia, Mis-teeq and Shaznay Lewis, and has been a backing dancer for Whitney Houston and Will Smith.
She is currently a judge on Alesha Dixon’s Street Dance TV show.
He was invited to The Dance Mill in Holmfield to teach house dance to a class from Dance 2 Beats, which is run by Vicki Abram.
She said: “As a teacher, I like to spread the knowledge and I try to get different people in now and then. “Last year I got someone called King Charles from Chicago but I’m a friend of Turbo’s and I’ve run a lot of workshops with him over the last few years.
“One of the dancer’s mum’s texted me the day before the class saying ‘one more sleep, one more sleep’ so they were all really excited because they know him from seeing him on the television.”
Turbo said: “They took to it very well and really enjoyed it. Vicky asked me if I would come and teach a class and it was great.
“The main thing is having fun and I always enjoy doing things like this.”
