It’s a miserable start to the morning with heavy rain and grey skies.
But, sunshine - and wind, is on the horizon with the sun expected to make an appearance in the later part of the morning, with highs of nine degrees c, and staying with us until the early evening.
Tonight’s forecast is dry and clear with winds easing. It will be colder than previous recent nights, with a widespread frost expected.
And Saturday is looking promising with sunshine and a mild air forecast for the afternoon, with highs of 12 degrees c after a windy and cloudy morning.
Sunday is expected to begin with a bright and breezy start but a cloudier afternoon is forecast - so get out of bed and make the most of the sun while it lasts.
Highs of 12 degrees are forecast between 12-3pm, Sunday.
A cold and frosty night is forecast for Sunday night.
