Update: Three men released on bail following man’s death in Brighouse

Police have released three men in connection with the death of a man in Brighouse.

The body of John Kerry, 38, from Brighouse, was found in a house on South Street, Waring Green, at 9.30am on Friday morning.

Detectives probing the death arrested three men aged 54, 41 and 20 from the Brighouse area.

A police spokesman said they had now been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

“A post mortem has taken place but the cause of death has net yet been ascertained,” he said.

Further tests are now taking place which will include toxicology reports.
