The condition of a 13-year-old boy attacked by a dog has been described as stable.
The teen is understood to have been attacked while visiting his cousin at a property in Frank Street, Little Horton, on Sunday evening at 7.26pm.
He is believed to have been dragged downstairs by the animal, which was shot dead by police.
The boy was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where his condition is this morning described as stable, with injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
Inquiries are now ongoing as to the breed of the dog and to establish whether any criminal offence has been committed.
