West Yorkshire Fire Service say the Bradford mill that was damaged by a huge fire last night may have to be demolished.
Fire crews from across Calderdale helped tackle the firce blaze that swept through the derelict mill yesterday evening.
The fire is believed to have started at about 7.30pm on Friday at the the four-storey Providence Mills building, on Tetley Street, just off Thornton Road.
Crews from Halifax, Elland, Illingworth and Brighouse stations were called to help, with eight crews used in all.
Police and paramedics were also at the scene, with the roof of the empty building collapsing as the fire ripped through the property.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
Structural engineers are examining the building to see whether it needs to be torn down.
