UPDATED: Two air ambulances called to six-vehicle crash in Calderdale - road now open

Two air ambulances, police, paramedics and firefighters were called to a six-vehicle crash in Calderdale this morning.

The accident happened on Kebs Road at Blackshaw Head, near Todmorden, at around 9am.

Two people have been airlifted to hospital in Preston, one with injuries described as very serious and the other with neck injuries.

The road was shut but re-opened at around 2.15pm.
