Police are investigating a vandalism spree that wreaked thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Five shop windows were smashed around Northgate in Halifax town centre shortly before midnight on Friday. At around the same time, seven vehicles were damaged around North Bridge and Haley Hill and Range Bank in Boothtown.

Officers want to trace a man seen arguing with two women in the area described as white, slim with short dark hair who was wearing dark clothing.
