Hundreds across Calderdale raised a cuppa for charity this morning as they took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Dozens events were held across the region, including one at Calderdale Royal’s Macmillan Unit.
Delicious cakes and sweet treats were on sale- all in the name of a good cause.
Ruth Henderson, Macmillan’s Information Support Manager, said: “We’ve had a fantastic response from the local community and we’re hoping to beat the £1600 we made last year.”
Louise Taylor, Matron at the unit added that the money raised from the coffee mornings helps to make the unit comfortable for its patients.
Staff, children and parents at Christ Church Primary School, Pellon, also got into the spirit of the occasion, raising a fantastic £230 at their event.
