Hundreds turned out to watch Castle Carr Fountain soar into the skys at heights up to 120 feet during a specially organised event.
The sun shone over Castle Carr Estate during the fundraising afternoon that was organised by The Rotary Club of Halifax in conjunction with the owner of Castle Carr Estate Frank Schofield and Yorkshire Water.
The afternoon commenced with a 2.5 mile walk setting off from the Cat I’th Well Inn to the fountain.
Afterwards a Hog Roast was served up at the pub while live music played at the charity fundraiser, which raises money for local and international charities and good causes.
