The first ever Halifax Colour Run took place in Savile Park with hundreds of runners getting covered in powdered paint all in the name of fantastic local charity.
Runners looked quite a colourful picture - covered in a range of coloured powder paint before, during and after the event, in aid of the Overgate Hospice, Elland.
Appropriately, runners set off on the 5k fun run to ‘Spice Up Your Life - colours of the world’ music from the Spice Girls.
Runners enjoyed glorious weather on July 26 after the event was previously postponed due to bad weather conditions.
Lots of you have sent in your colourful selfies to @hxcourier on twitter or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org - see Friday’s Courier to see if your selfie made it into the paper. Thanks for sharing your happy pictures of you covered in powdered paint.
