Hundreds flocked to the Boxhall playing fields when the Elland carnival came to town.
The day marked a huge success following last year’s nightmare washout meaning the event had to be postponed until October.
But that certainly wasn’t the case this year as the sun lit up the fields in true summer fashion.
While kids took part in pony rides and queued up in their dozens to have a go in a fire engine display, there was also a birds of prey display, performances from Elland Silver Band, and even a dog obedience competition.
