The 54th annual Shelf Gala proved to be a massive success as people turned up to Shelf Hall Park in their thousands.
The weather couldn’t have been better as festival goers descended on the park which was full of stalls, rides, games, tea and beers tents.
Special performances featured in the main arena including a police dogs presentation and a school skipping race competition.
Also going on was the traditional football competition which brought in many cheers,
