A Sowerby Bridge street was transformed into a wonderland of music and sound for the first Winter Light festival.
The illuminated street celebration saw Hollins Mill Lane filled with shadow lanterns, street performers, a giant pulsating projection globe and live music yesterday evening.
There were performances from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service Pipe Band, The Tragics, Kimbers Men, Mother Onion and The Northern Lights Street Orchestra before a fireworks display.
The festival was organised by the Fire and Water Project which hopes to create a purpose-built venue to provide community training and house arts, music and cultural events in Sowerby Bridge.
