Visitors help ROKT mark anniversary

Visitors from all over West Yorkshire celebrated the fourth birthday of ROKT Climbing Gym in Brighouse last weekend.

The gym on Millroyd Street held a Superhero themed family fun day which included caving, abseiling, rock climbing, face painting and a range of outdoor activities featuring a river rope crossing.

Both children and adults alike dug deep to bring their best Superhero fancy dress to the annual celebration.

Manager at ROKT, Benn Stoker said: “It was a really successful day and we had hundreds of people through the doors.

“We had lots of activities arranged and even had the Reptile Rangers from Leeds come in to show off some bugs and spiders.

“The day just brought the spirit of the last four years at Rokt together.”

ROKT Climbing Gym is one of a kind in Brighouse and across the West Yorkshire area. It provides numerous rock climbing courses and taster sessions that can be booked directly from its website.

The gym also hosts a series of climbing competitions that have a 50 pound cash prize for the winner.
