MORE experts are ready to offer advice and support at Calderdale Parent Partnership Service.

The service, which helps families of children with special education needs, has trained more volunteers to work at its Elsie Whiteley Centre base, Halifax.

Joanne Grenfell, service manager, said: “Many volunteers who come forward want to give something back to the community while others gain useful skills and go onto find employment.”

The next training sessions for volunteers are on May 10 and 17. For more details contact 01422 399500.
