THEY may have got a bit lost and are nursing some aching bones, but a team of 20 braved the weather for an epic charity walk.

Chelsea McCulloch and Jemma Bentley organised a 25-mile walk from Luddendenfoot to Stoodley Pike to raise funds for the Candlelighters charity. Money will also go to the Special Care Baby Unit.

The group carried buckets collecting donations from passing drivers and pedestrians.

Chelsea unintentionally made the challenge a little harder, taking a detour and adding extra miles to the walk. But the group made it home safely.

Their efforts were boosted by support from Steve Holland at Accident After Care team, Sowerby Bridge.

Her next fund-raising event will be at the Black Lion, Luddendenfoot, on Sunday.
