TIME is running out for people to have their say on Calderdale Council’s budget for the next three years.
Residents have until Tuesday to give their views on what money should be spent across the district.
The council is warning that changes in funding and increasing demand for growing numbers of older and disabled people and vulnerable children are going to put even more pressure on its budget.
It says it wants to know if people think it has got its spending priorities right.
A questionnaire is available on the council’s website, at libraries and council offices.
Calderdale Council leader Janet Battye said: “Rising costs and changes in the way councils are funded means difficult spending decisions need to be made.
“Last year’s consultation set us up well for the coming year but we need to know whether people think we are getting our spending priorities right during these difficult economic times.”
