What would you ask high street bosses?

Local business leaders and members of the public will be able to grill the bosses of Morrisons and Boots at a conference in Halifax.

David Scott, policy head at Morrisons and Andy Godfrey, public policy manager at Boots, will be at Townstock at Dean Clough to answer questions from the audience when the conference takes place on November 5 and 6.

Mr Scott will first be interviewed by Chris Wade, chief executive for Action for Market Towns, where he will answer questions on Morrisons’ responsibility for high streets and town centre communities, the relationships between Morrisons and the community, and how Morrisons work in partnerships with local organisations.

There will also be a host of other guests speakers at Townstock, including Terry Ryall, chief executive of vInspired and influential author Dan Thompson.

We want to know what you would ask the bosses of the high street stores about the state of Calderdale town centres and the impact national chains are having on them.
