A MOUNTAIN biker from Halifax has put his testosterone to the test to be shortlisted for the title of Britain’s Manliest Cyclist.
Jason Richardson is down to the final five after proving his masculinity with the 24-hour rides he takes part in with his team Columbia Bikefood.
Now he needs your votes to win the competition, organised by men’s shaving brand The Bluebeard’s Revenge.
The 32-year-old said: “You don’t get much more manly then the Columbia Bike Team or myself.
“If I’m not shaving, I’m on the bike riding through mountains, forest and suburbia.
“The team takes part in many 24 and 12 hour events just to show off our masculinity.
“Our racing focus is off-road, pushing the boundary between insanity and innovation, and redefining the way we look at the big wide open.
“Also high on the agenda is one team - a great sense of family and great pride felt when putting on the jersey.”
The winner of the competition will become the face of The Bluebeards Revenge and get the chance to star in a TV advert.
They will also receive a Bluebeard’s Revenge racing jersey, a year’s supply of shaving products and have £500 donated to their club or a charity of their choice.
