Woman, 36, robbed in Huddersfield

A 36-year-old woman was pushed to the ground during a robbery in Huddersfield.

The incident happened at 10.30am on Sunday morning as the victim was walking up the path between the bottom of Chapel Hill and Rashcliffe Hill Road.

At the time she had her phone in her hand when a man walked up behind her and pushed her forward, causing her to fall to her hands and knees and to drop her phone.

The man then grabbed her phone and ran up Rashcliffe Hill Road.

A man officers want to speak to in connection with the incident is described as aged in his late 20s, of slim build and approximately 6ft tall. He was wearing dark light grey coloured jogging bottoms and a grey coloured hooded top with blue coloured trainers. He was thought to be Asian.
