A micro pig, breast implants, a bucket of live crabs and a script for a well-known soap opera are just some of the more bizarre items left behind in Travelodges.
A box of 200 Queen Elizabeth masks, a valuable set of Olympic tickets and a trunk of chocolate bars were also found. The hotel chain says at its Halifax site, a Wonder Woman costume was discoveredin one room. A total of 7,000 copies of Fifty Shades of Grey have also been left behind at hotels across the country, and 76,500 teddy bears. The most commonly forgotten item for last year were mobile and laptop chargers, followed by pyjamas and then teddy bears. Since January last year, all items left behind at Travelodge hotels that have not been claimed within three months have been donated to Cancer Research UK charity shops.
