IT WAS more than just puppy love as dogs of all shapes and sizes joined in the RSPCA K9 Party in the Park.

The annual event was held at Manor Heath Park, Halifax, and owners got the chance to get help and advice on caring for and training their dogs.

Proud pooches showed off their best skills on the obstacle course, all in support of the RSPCA.

Kath Airey, trustee of Halifax, Huddersfield and district branch of the RSPCA, said: “Today is about raising money and awareness of the work the RSCPA does. We’ve got a great turnout and all the dogs are getting along.

“Last year we raised £5,000 so we’d be pleased to get anywhere near that again.”

Jess Marson, from Batley, was left smiling after her dog Oreo won Best in Show.
