Talented young musicians represented the Rotary Club of Halifax in the Yorkshire District Finals of the club’s Young Musician Award.

Lawrence Vine and Lydia Wyatt, pictured with past Club president Neil Crossley and present president Peter Lloyd, travelled to York to perform at the National Centre for Early Music.

Lawrence, a pupil at Rishworth School, plays saxophone and Lydia, a flautist, is a pupil at Rastrick High School, Brighouse.

Mr Lloyd said: “Both are talented musicians and performed extremely well.”
