Keen ale drinkers who want to help locals raise £130,000 to run their own Calder Valley pub are invited to a meeting on Monday.
Traditional pub fans who are keen to buy shares in the Fox and Goose Co-operative project but do not have access to the internet, or those who simply want to find out more, are invited to go along to the advice session.
Directors of The Fox and Goose (Hebden Bridge) Limited, the co-operative society set up to buy the Fox, will be on hand in the pub from 7pm to 9pm, to answer any questions and help with applications.
Anyone planning to invest on the night should take their bank account details with them. Information on tax benefits will also be available.
The society needs to raise £130,000 to buy and spruce up the pub in Heptonstall Road, Hebden Bridge. Supporters will be able to buy shares from a value of £100 up to a maximum of £20,000.
