Have your say

It’s the longest day on Friday June 21 - and we want to capture your life in a day on camera!

Our Life in a Day project will involve a snapshot of your day, what you are up to at work, at home, at play.

Our photographers and reporters will be out and about across Calderdale - as always - covering your events for our website and the paper - but we are asking our readers to get involved and send in your pictures and your video clips of your day.

From the milkmen and women doing their rounds, the sounds and sights of the dawn chorus in your back garden, the school run and the rush hour, please see it, snap it, send it - and film it - for our Longest Day compilation.

We want to celebrate all that is great in Calderdale and showcase all your activities with your pictures and video on our website - and also put it all together for the paper.

The longest day is a great chance for you to have your moment in time and for us to capture a visual snapshot of everyday life in Calderdale, to promote how wonderful our district is from sunrise to sunset (and everything in between) and to celebrate the people that live and wok here and make it so special to a worldwide audience.

Email us your pictures and video to newsdesk@halifaxcourier.co.uk, you can tweet us @HxCourier #longestlocalday or post on the Courier’s Facebook page.

And let’s all enjoy the longest day together.
