As dusk draws in, things are about to get scary in Calderdale.

It’ll be all fright on the night with ghosts, ghouls, wizards and witches embarking on trick-or-treat quests across Calderdale.

The Courier asked you to frighten the living daylights out of us by tweeting in your most ghoulish pictures.

@beljgee sent a spooky picture of her terrifying children and @olliegg sent in a solo snap of his bloody face!

@KirsteneK wished everyone a ‘Happy Halloween’ and tweeted a very cute scary picture of a small Frankenstein and tiny spider.

There’s no way @Reet_Good tweeted us a picture of a scary satusma; that’s definitely a petrifying pumpkin!

@gabo82hl tweeted us a ghoulish graveyard picture with two spooky looking children lurking around tomb stones.
