“WArning, Dick Turpin Lives.” Where? Leeds Bradford Airport. To passengers, ferriers and anybody having to drop passengers off at said place:
On March 14 I took my son and his girlfriend to the airport at 5am. When I dropped them off, which took 30 seconds, I tried to get through the barrier to get back on my way home to me met with a charge of £2.00. Just to be let out to go home.
Can I put it on record, and I would appreciate any comments or advice on suing or reporting the people in charge of the car parking, or indeed the running of the airport, to explain why it cost £2.00.
Does anybody out there work at the LBA?
Finally, just to say what an extortionate lot, preying on the simple task of dropping a passenger off, or friends and family; in which most cases should be a happy event.
The Information Desk, on enquiry, said there were signs on the way in, informing that there was a charge, but at 5am and not really knowing where to go it is a bit much.
I used to love flying from LBA. Not any more.
Yours, still fuming.
