Have your say

I write on behalf of the people of Halifax to express our gratitude to the members of Lloyds Bank (nee Halifax) who gave of their time to clean many of the memorials in the Minster last week, and to clean much of the wood work.

It’s good to know that not all bankers are bad, and that many people employed by the bank make a huge contribution to the life of Halifax and the Borough. On this occasion, and hopefully many more, a justified thank you is well deserved.

The Revd Canon Hilary Barber

Vicar of Halifax Minster
