We, the staff of Neaversons, would like to express our gratitude to the many regular customers who have been a pleasure to serve over the years.
It is the end of an era and we are very sad to go, but hope that people don’t write-off Halifax as a place to shop. There are still a good variety of independent shops, jewellers and florists in the town centre; Harveys, Emma’s Apothocary, Cassons, Wade, Serendipity and Franklyn’s to name a few.
Our hope, for them, is that the parking situation will be improved for the benefit of all – maybe the council might consider free parking on Fridays to tempt shoppers into town.
We would also like to thank everyone for their kind words and best wishes for the future, we all hope to find new jobs soon.
Do come and say goodbye – we’ll be gone by the end of the month.
