Letter: Disappointed by political items

I was given a handful of 'Vote Leave' biros by a young patriot outside Wetherspoons, in Brighouse, during the European Union referendum campaign.

Within several weeks the ink has run dry and on one pen the slogan has worn thin.

Have any other readers been disappointed by the quality of political merchandise?

I know it is illegal to bribe the electorate, but having crossed this line, they should have provided quality gifts.

As for the Remain campaign, they gave me nothing!
